As a postpartum doula coming into your home, it’s my ultimate goal to help support you in your transition into your new role as a parent. I’m here to help make the transition as seamless as possible. Newborn Care Support
Demonstrate and assist with diapering, swaddling, and bathing
Help interpret baby’s cries, cues, and behaviours
Teach safe sleep practices and help to gently establish sleep routines
Offer tips on soothing techniques (rocking, white noise, etc.)
Support responsive caregiving and bonding with baby
Provide reassurance and answer common newborn care questions
Offer suggestions for baby gear and safe product use
Encourage parents’ confidence in caring for their newborn
Feeding Support
Support breastfeeding/chestfeeding, bottle-feeding, or combination feeding
Offer guidance on latch, positioning, and feeding schedules
Refer to lactation consultants if needed
